Lindsay Lohan Not Getting Out of Jail This Week
Lindsay Lohan and her lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley are hoping that the actress will be able to get out of jail this week but it seems that it will not happen. In an interview with E!News Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitmore gave the following statement:
“Nothing has changed, when she was incarcerated I said a couple of weeks and it hasn’t been a couple of weeks. That turns out to be the first part of next week. It could be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, something like that.”
Before Whitmore gave the above statement to E!News, Holley said that she and her client are hoping that jail officials will release Lohan due to overcrowding in the jail facility. But the statement of Whitmore now dashed the hopes of Lohan, she’ll have to stay another week in jail.
There are rumors that Lohan became hysterical when she first entered jail but Holley says that contrary to what many believe, Lohan is taking it all calmly. As to the possibility that other jailmates could hurt the actress, Holley that Lohan and her jailmates have a “mutual respect” for each other and no harrassment is happening.
