Republican Senator Says They Are Investigating Feinstein

Christine Blasey Ford's testimony was credible and sympathetic. "I wanted a hearing the day after the allegation came up", he said.

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham suggested that there is no need for the FBI's supplemental investigation of Brett Kavanaugh to include talking to his former classmates about his drinking habits in college.

The charged atmosphere in the room was heightened by Kavanaugh himself, who delivered what has to rank among the most combative testimony ever heard in a congressional hearing room. His critics ripped him for being "angry". Kavanaugh was clearly frustrated and distraught by the smear campaign that was orchestrated by the Democrats.

REPUBLICAN SEN. CHUCK GRASSLEY, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, contended Friday that the sum of statements by the three witnesses "refutes Dr. Ford's version of the facts". Lindsey Graham as well, for that matter - she would have been condemned as hysterical and out of control, and doubt cast on her recounting of her assault by Kavanaugh.

Graham then left the conversation in a elevator.

It's obvious that's what their intention was.

The women who don't have stories like Prof Ford's, or stories that are worse, know that it is only through good fortune that they avoid being victimised by men with predation on their minds.

Tropical Storm Kirk expected to weaken by weekend
A Tropical Storm Warning means that tropical storm conditions are expected somewhere within the warning area within 36 hours. Kirk reorganized and reintensified back into a Tropical Storm early Wednesday after dissipating late Monday afternoon.

Sen. Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., proposed a second FBI investigation (Kavanaugh's seventh) after speaking to senators on both sides of the aisle, "limited in time and scope, to the current allegations that are there, and limited in time to no more than one week".

"I just told the truth".

According to The Federalist, the new poll by Remington Research Group "found that of the 1,555 likely Missouri voters surveyed late last week, 48% said they were planning to vote for Republican candidate Josh Hawley while 46% said they planned to vote for McCaskill".

"This is the most unethical sham since I've been in politics", the Republican continued.

"I don't want to reward that kind of behavior", he said of Democrats. Boy, I hope you never get it. That you knew about it and you held it.

"I'm going to call for an investigation of what happened in this committee, whether he betrayed Dr. Ford's trust". You're supposed to be Bill Cosby when you're a junior and senior in high school.

Hawley also accused McCaskill of not giving Kavanaugh a "fair shake". He is very circumspect in his personal conduct, harbors no biases or prejudices. "But let me tell you my Democratic friends: if this is the new norm, you better watch out for your nominees". But it wasn't aimed at Democrats or the media ... it was aimed at Republicans.
