Apple announced a new Mac Mini this morning, and it's a pretty large overhaul. Apple claims the new speakers are fuller and more immersive and capable of wide stereo reproduction.

Mac mini has all the ports you expect from a desktop. Read on to find out.

Like the new MacBook Air, it launches on November 7. Every Mac Mini now comes with 4 cores, as well as new 6 core variants. Apple claims that "together these advancements help to reduce the carbon footprint of the new Mac mini by almost 50%". And audio jack is also available.

Tim Cook introduced the update to the "small, but mighty" computer, but senior director of Mac hardware product marketing Tom Boger gave us the highlights. This, Apple tells us, results in up to five times faster performance over the Mac mini 2014.

In many ways, the Mac mini still serves that objective today. The base model features a 1.4GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost to 2.7GHz), 4GB of 1600Mhz LPDDR3 RAM. The existing model was so long in the tooth as to be considered borderline irrelevant, but the upgraded machine might make up for it by packing quite the punch inside its slim dimensions.

Leicester City defender Harry Maguire tweeted a video of the aftermath of the crash with praying hands emojis. Multiple videos from the scene show a massive fire at the stadium's auto park and emergency services arriving.

Aside from the CPU, the mini comes with up to 64GB of memory provided by 2,666 MHz SO-DIMM sticks. You can configure this Mac mini to have a 3.0GHz Intel Core i7 (3.5GHz boost) and 16GB of RAM.

The upgraded Mac Mini is heavily aimed at professionals with a smaller budget. The graphics are provided by integrated Intel Iris Graphics. It starts at $799, and for that you get a quad-core Intel Core i3 chip, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. The entry-level processor is a 4-core 8th generation i3 processor at 3.66GHz and no turbo mode.

As far as the Mac mini goes, that price sits at a huge $4,200 United States dollars, including the 2TB storage option, 64GB of RAM, six-core Intel Core i7, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet.

Other notable features include Apple's own T2 security chip on board and can even be paired with your MacBook so the Mac mini can offload some of the rendering your notebook is doing. The 2018 Mac Mini also has 802.11ac WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0.
