In the early hours of Monday morning, actress and "The Bible" producer Roma Downey posted a photo of her bruised hand after an alleged encounter with actor Tom Arnold.

"Mark Burnett just went apes-- & choked me at this huge Emmy party then he ran away with his torn Pink shirt & missing gold chain", Arnold tweeted. "I'm waiting for LAPD", claimed Arnold via Twitter, adding that he's going to sue Downey for defamation.

Burnett's wife Roma Downey (from Touched by an Angel in case this story didn't have enough 90's references) tweeted a photo of a bruise on her hand with a caption that said that Arnold "ambushed" her husband. Is your TV show worth it Tom?' Arnold replied to her tweet, writing, "Bulls-t". "Bulls-. You lie your insane husband attacked me you psycho".

The Los Angeles Police Department has not filed a report on the incident so far.

The LAPD says they are not investigating any reports of violence involving Arnold or Burnett.

Tom Arnold took to Twitter Sunday night to accuse Mark Burnett of assaulting him. The pair reportedly settled down before entering the venue.

Arnold has been working to uncover the infamous pee tape, as well as behind the scenes footage from The Apprentice that allegedly shows Trump using the N-word.

Now, Tom - like many, including Omarosa Manigault-Newman - asserts those tapes exist and should be released, and he's soon debuting a show on Viceland that is all about his search for those tapes to unearth to the public.

Some have speculated the fight was a publicity stunt.

Burnett has yet to publicly comment on his altercation with Arnold. In August, Arnold claimed that multiple Apprentice employees confirmed the existence of the Trump tapes, but the president disagreed. He also claimed Arnold had a "witness" to corroborate his claims. "I'd like him to stand up and say, 'actually, we had to cut out all the lies and sexual harassment and the insanity and the incompetence, we had to cut all that out.' That's the tape I want".
