Nintendo confirms Fortnite on Switch won't require an online subscription to play

After months and months of hoping from fans, Nintendo has finally confirmed Animal Crossing is coming to Nintendo Switch.

With just a few days to spare before the service launches, Nintendo has told us basically everything there is to know about Nintendo Switch Online.

Huge Hurricane Florence Looms Large in New Views from Space

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on December 7, 2018. Much like the new Animal Crossing, details are scarce. While you can download the games and play them offline like most other games, you have to go online at least once a week or the games will deactivate until you can reach a connection.

You can pick up New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe will be available starting January 11 on Switch. The smartphone app also has connectivity features for certain games, such as Splatoon 2, where game information can be beamed to your device for viewing.

Nintendo is also introducing NES-style controllers that work wirelessly with the Nintendo Switch and are created to work with all the vintage NES games. Games shown during the Direct included Ghosts 'n Goblins, Ice Climbers, and Dr. Mario.
