Maroon 5 to headline Super Bowl Halftime

No word yet if either collaborator will be joining Levine and his bandmates at the Super Bowl.

The NFL has tabbed pop-rock mainstays Maroon 5 to perform during halftime of Super Bowl LIII on February 3 in Atlanta, two sources tell Variety's Jem Aswad.

'The offer has been extended and they've pretty much accepted, ' an unnamed source told the site.

Considering Atlanta's rich music history, many people were baffled by the selection of Maroon 5. They have some big shoes to fill.
