Shane Powers on his podcast The Shane Show to talk about Miller, praising his talent and personality but also talking about his addiction issues. According to the podcaster, Ariana was really pushing him to be sober, and was a "G" to him. Notable moments came from his ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande, who posted a striking photo of Mac over the weekend, as well as fellow rappers like Chance, Kyle, Wiz Khalifa, Post Malone, and more.

On the 10th of September episode, Shane claimed Ariana was genuinely trying to help Miller out, however, unfortunately, her efforts weren't enough to save his life.

He said: "Every time someone close to me passes away I always text their phone and - I don't know why I do this often - I just wrote, "I love you man", and I knew he wasn't going to write back but I just felt like I had to do it anyway".

And the praise is coming from someone who admittedly doesn't like Grande "very much".

Manchester United's Luke Shaw stretchered off on England duty vs. Spain
Having got the assist to put England 1-0 up in the first half, Shaw's return to global football had started brilliantly. Gareth Southgate may have a selection dilemma ahead of England v Switzerland.

'This little girl was unbelievably involved and helpful to him being healthy. Powers said, "I think she acted like an idiot with the breakup ... and the marrying some dude in a week".

"[Ariana's] got her own s***, there's no doubt about it. And she was all about him being healthy, period, in this area of his life".

Powers said that he wanted to make the Grande point clear when talking about his friend's death and that "Mac did not die because he was suicidal or he was bummed out". When the two became engaged in June after just a few weeks of dating, many slammed Grande, with some even blaming her for Miller's DUI and, eventually, his death.

Mac Miller's death certificate is in, but it still hasn't shed any light on what caused the rapper's life to end.
