On Monday, the team parted ways with the kicker and signed someone else to replace him. Unknown rookie Greg Joseph will find out in a hurry if this is his dream job.

The Cleveland Browns will sign Joseph, an undrafted free agent out of Florida Atlantic University, following his successful workout with the team, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported Monday via Twitter, citing a source.

Reports later came out that Gonzalez has been kicking with a groin injury that requires an MRI. "Browns could reach an injury settlement with him or put him on waivers, injured". Prior to that, he had a potential game-winning field goal in overtime blocked during Cleveland's Week 1 tie with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Cleveland Browns to cut ties with wide receiver Josh Gordon
According to a tweet from ESPN's Adam Schefter , Gordon hurt his hamstring at a promotional shoot, not at practice, per a source. Gordon missed the majority of training camp, taking time to make a concerted effort to improve his mental and physical health.

After running back Carlos Hyde rushed for a one-yard touchdown, the Browns led the Saints by a 12-3 count with 6:43 to play in the third quarter. During the preseason, he connected on all three field goal attempts and both extra point tries.

LeBron made a video going off about Zane's awful play and warning Gonzalez not to say "my bad" or "he might get his ass whooped".

Like the first missed PAT, Gonzalez pulled the kick wide to the left. Whether or not there will be a new kicker in town will remain to be seen.

The New Orleans Saints will host the Browns on Sunday after last facing them in preseason exhibition just previous year.
