Was Brighton defeat the beginning of the end for Mourinho?

Former Premier League star, Stan Collymore has told Manchester United to replace Jose Mourinho with either Mauricio Pochettino or Zinedine Zidane.

The United fans were unsure whether they wanted Mourinho to manage their club given his track record of causing chaos everywhere he goes and now those fears have been realised.

The Chelsea players refused to play for Mourinho in the end and while it is unacceptable for any footballer to down tools and refuse to give of his best, you can understand why this particular manager is hard to play for.

Mourinho blamed individual errors for the defeat, but former players including Gary Neville and Paul Scholes were hugely critical of the overall performance of the side, while captain Paul Pogba admitted their attitude had been poor.

Despite obvious deficiencies in the squad, there remains a belief in various quarters of the club that United still boast an abundance of talented players and should at least be capable of making a credible challenge for the title. They will be favourites to claim a top-four spot and satisfy Ed Woodward and his board with Champions League football again next season; however the growing discontent among Manchester United fans on social media is evident even when their side claim all three points.

Manigault Newman has released other secretly recorded tapes, including one of her firing by chief of staff John Kelly in December. Perhaps the best thing that could have been said about her up until now is that most people probably didn't know who she was.

"But they are all about attacking football, feel-good factor, the Theatre of Dreams, winning trophies with a smile and swagger".

United host Tottenham Hotspur next as they seek to avoid the gloomy mood around the club deteriorating and losing further ground on Manchester City and Liverpool. "You don't need a manager to tell you that or your team-mates".

Supporters will hope that the team can bounce back next Monday against Tottenham at Old Trafford and lift the negative mood that is now surrounding the club. Paul Pogba drifted about, clipping balls over the top, the full-backs crossed aimlessly whenever they had the chance, and the wingers cut inside straight into the mass of Brighton bodies.

Raiola said, "Paul Scholes should become sports director and advise Woodward to sell Pogba".

"There are enough issues at Manchester United without Raiola getting involved". We knew he was a good player.
