Karius joined Besiktas on a two-year deal on Saturday evening, and could join the Turkish side on a permanent basis in 2020.

"Nothing has been told to me after the departure of Karius, so I do not know what my future at Liverpool is".

"Nothing's decided. If it happens, that's how things go in football".

There nearly seems a jealously that it was Karius who was loaned out and he's especially confused considering the German played above him last season.

Following that game, Karius returned to pre-season action for the Reds and has made a series of well-documented errors, forcing the club to spend a then-world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper, £68million, to bring in Alisson Becker from Roma. But for some reason that wasn't possible.

The Brazil global is only the third Liverpool goalkeeper in 51 years to keep clean sheets in the first three league matches of a season after Bruce Grobbelaar, Jose Reina and Simon Mignolet, who achieved the feat twice.

"Playing minutes are the most important".

Liverpool FC will now switch their attentions towards preparing for their clash against Leicester City in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime before the global break.

Loris Karius is now a Besiktas player, for the rest of the season at least.

Klopp's men have started off the premier League season with three wins, nine points, seven goals scored and none conceded.
