What Celtics fan Sonny Angara thinks of LeBron's move to Lakers

The Cavs made the NBA Finals in each of the last four seasons since LeBron returned to OH in 2014, but that chapter is over and odds on the Cavs winning the title next season went from 25/1 to 500/1 once his departure was announced. However, the fact that such talk emerged during the Cavaliers' severe struggles in January points more toward frustration than pinpointing an actual problem. The same goes for the Washington Wizards, who should be better than a year ago, and the Indiana Pacers, who should regress a bit. That's a huge accomplishment when you consider all the high-profile players that have changed jerseys over the past several years: Kevin Durant to the Warriors, Chris Paul to the Rockets, Gordon Hayward and Kyrie Irving to the Celtics. "The acquisition of LeBron James means that the Lakers are just a smidgen away from being real contenders".

Angara told CNN Sports Desk that with "King" James joining the Lakers, he expects the resurrection of the NBA's biggest rivalry. "They still ain't gonna win with this team right here". It was possible for the Lakers to retain Randle on a one-year deal with an inflated salary, exceeding the $9 million he will be making annually on his two year agreement with the New Orleans Pelicans.

However his expectations may have been tempered early in the postseason.

In order of their ability to handle the pressure and produce, Nance Jr. and Hill were the only two to show any real consistency. Fortunately for the Chicago Bulls, he's out of the Eastern Conference.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Slams Conservative TV Host Saying She's Not From Bronx
The media that largely ignored Ocasio-Cortez's unheralded, underfunded campaign now seem intent on misinterpreting it. Hannity framed these positions as somehow bad, and "the future" of the Democratic Party.

In the end, few players did well enough to keep James' confidence though. However, the Lakers getting their star in James already has certainly made their need for Leonard a little less.

Leonard has been linked with a move to the Lakers, while the Los Angeles Clippers and the Philadelphia 76ers are also in the running for the two-time Defensive Player of the Year.

After leading the Cavaliers to the 2016 National Basketball Association championship, the OH native has now left Cleveland as a free agent for the second time in his career.

The teammates LeBron James will be joining all have potential, but other than Brandon Ingram, have just as good of a chance to suffer from a sophomore slump than to improve off of last season.
