"Wilmer has spent hours at the hospital with Demi every day", a second source told the magazine.
She has since said the incident was a "wake up call", telling friends according to Entertainment Tonight: 'Demi opened up to her friends and family that she was no longer sober, but was working on her ongoing addiction. "Her mother is by her side", the source continued. "Phil and Demi are very close and it's hard for both of them, but Phil wants what's best for her and if she's not in a good place, he can't work with her".
