In some DaVinci Resolve 15 performance charts from ZDNet, we can also see the Blackmagic eGPU adds a seven-fold performance boost to the 13-inch MacBook Pro, while the 15-inch MacBook Pro gets a two or three times improvement.

Apple's 13-inch MacBook Pros don't come with graphics card, which are useful for power-hungry tasks, like photo and video editing, as well as playing games. The 2018 MacBook Pros support up to 32GB of RAM, and they're running Intel eighth-generation Core processors. Previously MacBook Pro users had to press a button to trigger Siri. The 15-inch model can be configured with up to 4 TB of SSD storage, while the 13-inch model is limited to a maximum of 2 TB. It now can be configured with quad-core Intel chips.

The latest MacBook Pros also continue to pack 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports, which gives you awesome throughput and the ability to run multiple devices off of a single connector.

Beloved by many, the 2015 MacBook Pro had a number of features that have since been changed or have disappeared entirely from new MacBook Pro models.

Alongside the new notebooks, Apple launched something interesting as well.

Prince William's heartfelt message to England squad after World Cup dreams end
He's saved England plenty of times but our pick is his epic penalty save from Carlos Bacca in the shootout win over Colombia. England Football Tweeted to their fans to thank them for support throughout the Russian Federation 2018 campaign.

As I've outlined before, the 2015 MacBook Pro offered a great keyboard with lots of cushy travel.

For one, it's apparently the first eGPU to support Thunderbolt 3 displays like LG's Apple-approved 5K Monitor. The 15-inch model is now 70% faster, while the smaller 13-inch model is "twice as fast". The Touch Bar (which also supports True Tone) and other security features are now powered by a new "T2" chip. The difference in travel between the old and new models is 1.3mm and 0.7mm, which is pretty significant. The design of the MacBooks stays the same, which means that Apple still uses the controversial keyboard with its delicate Butterfly mechanism and Touchbar - although Apple does say that they have reduced the noise of the "3rd gen Butterfly" switches. The laptop saw continued availability after the introduction of the 2016 MacBook Pro lineup, as well as the 2017 versions.

Without a big keynote, Apple today announced the long expected update of its MacBook Pro line.

The company has also unveiled new leather sleeves for the new MacBook Pro models, in Saddle Brown, Midnight Blue, and Black (for the first time) colour variants.
