Officers said Spade left a note on the scene assuring her 13-year-old daughter, who was at school at the time, that it was not her fault, according to the AP.
Officials are not authorised to divulge any additional information as the investigation into her death continues.
"Her products were so filled with joy, colour and excitement - I really hope she knew how much love she brought to her customers".

The report says that the company hasn't only been sharing user data with their device makers but also their friends', as well. Under the FTC agreement, Facebook is required to obtain explicit user consent to share data externally.

While working there, she moved in with her husband-to-be, Andy Spade (brother of David Spade).
In 2016 Spade launched Frances Valentine, a new brand focusing on high-end footwear, bags, and accessories.
