The goal came on the heels of Ronaldo saving a point for Portugal against Iberian rivals Spain, as he delivered a ideal free-kick equaliser to complete his hat-trick in a 3-3 draw in their World Cup opener.

Ronaldo's fourth-minute goal moved him past the legendary Ferenc Puskas onto 85, and now only Iran's Ali Daei has scored more worldwide goals (109) than the Real Madrid forward.

Portuguese defender, Pepe has been speaking ahead of the game and he is full of praise for his Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo, however, will be a hard player to tame following his heroics against the Spaniards last week, when he gave an individual performance that is already being considered as one of the best in World Cup history. They have a lot of experience with players who play in the best leagues in Europe.
