As the PA system announced Giuliani was in the stadium, marking his birthday by watching the New York Yankees play the Houston Astros, the crowd responded by loudly booing the lawyer, Mediaite reported.

In response to Carrasquillo's tweet about the fan's vocal disapproval, one twitter user commented that "Trump and Giuliani have one thing in common: they're both New Yorkers hated in NY". Giuliani, however, didn't appear to have too many fans in the stands and was immediately greeted with loud thunderous boos that swept over the entire Bronx stadium. The former mayor was booed during a game in 2007, the New York Post reported.

Giuliani joined Trump's legal team in April in an effort to help the President clear up any ties between the Trump campaign and Russian interference in the 2016 election. He told CNN's Dana Bash on Sunday that the strategy behind Trump's aggressive attempts to discredit that investigation is to curry favor with the "public opinion". Giuliani was also brought on to arrange a possible interview between Trump and Mueller, as a final step.
