Call it the case of the public super pooper. Yes, the man who is in charge of the school system in Holmdel, and is paid nearly $150K per year to do so, has been relieving himself almost daily on the football field.

It turns out it was the Kenilworth school superintendent who was caught in the act after surveillance was set up due to human feces being found "on a daily basis", police said. School employees and police began monitoring the area.

According to Fox News, Thomas Tramaglini, a New Jersey school superintendent, was charged with lewdness, littering, and defecating in public, police said Thursday.

A New Jersey superintendent was charged on Monday after allegedly defecating multiple times on the track of a high school in a neighboring district.

A high school superintendent was accused of pooping on a school football field.

Tramaglini was placed on paid administrative leave, according to a statement on the school district's website.

The district said in the message that per state law, unpaid leave is taken in the face of indictments or tenure charges.

Not everyone believes Tramaglini is in the wrong for the alleged pooping.

Others questioned whether Mr Tramaglini, if guilty, could have a condition that left him unable to restrain his bowel movements.
