'I will take Sean Hannity at his word that he was genuinely offended by what I believed and still believe to be a harmless and silly aside referencing our First Lady's accent.

After having a heated back-and-forth involving Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity, the late-night host released a statement Sunday looking for a lewd shot at Hannity regarded as mocking the gay area - but Kimmel was unapologetic about his contentious onair jokes at 1st woman Melania Trump's expense.

In an episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!,' the 50-year-old had joked about her Slovenian accent, which apparently didn't go down too well with Hannity.

Chelsea Handler and Jimmy Kimmel are feeling the heat on social media this weekend after separately cracking jokes that many have deemed homophobic. Kimmel responded, "I can't wait!" to which Hannity replied, "Game on".

"I don't take joy in this, but I have just had it with the unrelenting hypocrisy", Hannity said.

On Friday, Hannity called Kimmel a "sick twisted creepy perverted weirdo", and vowed to keep attacking him until he apologised to Mrs Trump. "Mrs. Trump almost actually has sufficient to fret about with out getting used as a prop to extend TV scores".

The brawl between Kimmel and Hannity then made its way to Twitter, where these two fought most of Friday and even into the night.

The reported "dilution" of the law was done to curb "abuse of law". "No complainant can be prosecutor and judge", the SC said. The legislature never meant to use the Atrocities Act as an instrument to blackmail or to wreck personal vengeance.

"I most certainly did not intend to belittle or upset members of the gay community and to those who took offense, I apologize", he wrote.

As seen in his below tweet published on Sunday, April 8, Kimmel explained his reasoning for issuing an apology to Melania, along with words for Hannity, whom Kimmel tagged in the tweet.

Hannity said he'd address Kimmel's statement on his Monday show.

Kimmel also said that he hoped Hannity's "newly found" advocacy for women, immigrants and First Ladies would be reflected in his public commentary in the future.

Hannity did not specifically react to the last portion of Kimmel's monologue, during which the late-night host suggested he channel his anger toward the president's alleged actions.

When the big moment did arrive - Hannity delivered. He said the idea that Hannity would call anyone a pervert while he was "slobbering over" Donald Trump is, "to quote a fella you love very much, 'sad'". Assclown Kimmel. Now, I'm going to tell you something: What a disgrace.
