For those unfamiliar with the game, Days Gone is an open-world zombie survival game, with the player being tasked with fighting, strategizing and exploring the game's world on their own terms in order to survive. It's possible that the game could end up releasing in the first quarter of 2019, though specifics on that will likely be coming during an upcoming gaming convention like E3. Witwer plays Deacon St. John, the protagonist of Days Gone, and he told Huckaby that there's a "whole bunch of hours" of cinematics in Days Gone.

The new job listings have been backed up by publication site USGamer and its recent report on Days Gone. The Days Gone delay has made it release in 2019. The change was confirmed by Sony who didn't provide details on why the game was delayed.

According to Days Gone's official game page on PlayStation US' website, the release date adds "2019". This will kick-off at this year's Game Developers Conference (GDC), which will be held at the Moscone Conference Center in San Francisco, California.
