Better news is that we now have a nailed down, confirmed release date of 26 October 2018. That's because developer Rockstar announced this morning that Red Dead Redemption 2 is now planned to launch on October 26.
Apart from some (gorgeous-looking) new screenshots they didn't really reveal anything else of note, except that the game will apparently be worth the wait. After announcing the delay today, the company has apologized to everyone that's disappointed by this latest development. Rockstar is a studio well known for putting out quality games and we can only look forward to the release of their next major title with anticipation.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will follow a brand new protagonist, Arthur Morgan, an outlaw and member of the tough as nails and deadly Van der Linde gang. Apart from the guessing game on when the game will be possibly released, the game sequel's location is also a favorite topic among the fans. However, it seems that Rockstar won't be able to meet that release window after all, with the game receiving a second delay.
There have been rumours floating around for a little while suggesting Rockstar could release the Red Dead Redemption games and GTAV on Switch, but so far these have been unsubstantiated. "#Red Dead Redemption" was a successful game developed by famous studio Rockstar Games. The pictures give off a "wild west" feel, and, at least we now have an official date for the game. The long-awaited action adventure game has a finally known release date. Then, in 2017, we were privy to more screenshots that got us even more pumped up for the upcoming sequel (prequel).
