Priyanka went public with her marriage dreams for her friend at the beginning of past year, shortly after it was confirmed Meghan was dating Harry. She didn't need cue cards or a teleprompter to tell those in attendance she's a proud woman and feminist, that women and men are equal, and that we need to work at making gender inequality a thing of the past. Many have been curious to know if Priyanka Chopra would be a bridesmaid at Meghan Markle's upcoming royal marriage to Prince Harry, but the Bollywood star has been keeping fans guessing. "It won't be a typical British royal wedding 'by numbers.' It will be different".
The fund is a project led by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, which aims to help servicemen and women through physical challenges. She said, "If you see me there, you'll know". Combined with Prince Harry and Ms Markle's penchant for breaking with royal protocol there is a good chance that they will follow Will and Kate's lead and make their own rules for their big day.
Harrison added that Markle's decision to reportedly break with tradition is "refreshing" and admittedly "not too surprising, as Meghan has already shattered a number of traditions on her path to becoming a royal". She's just right for it, ' she said of Meghan modernising the family.
Priyanka also gushed over her "normal and sweet" friend, who she goes on to cal an "icon". "William was longing to meet her and so was Catherine", Harry began, explaining that they've all managed to get together "quite a few times now and Catherine has been absolutely", as Meghan injected, "She's been wonderful". In fact, Meghan's speech might be the highlight of the night, especially given how many in attendance may not ever have heard a woman in a wedding dress speak before this.
