Brandon McCall, 26, has been charged with capital murder of a peace officer. When they arrived, the gunman opened fire and hit one officer.

Reports said police had cornered the suspect in the Breckinridge Point apartment complex, where the shooting took place, and were attempting to negotiate his surrender.

Police on Thursday said the second person killed was 30-year-old Rene Gamez. He fell back out of the apartment and was pulled away by other officers, according to Richardson police Chief Jim Spivey.

The help is badly needed, as Underwood confessed post-game. "I just wanted to come out and be aggressive", Alstork said. Second-ranked Luke Pletcher scored a couple takedowns in the first period and made them stand up in a 5-4 decision.

Richardson police did not identify the officer killed, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott tweeted out his condolences. "They have been our family and they will continue to be our family and we will continue to support them as long as it's necessary", he said. "We ask for your prayers during this tragedy". We're not doing well. It was later reported that the police have managed to take the suspect into custody.

Police in nearby Garland arrested him in March and May of 2009 for marijuana possession charges and in January 2010 for unauthorized use of a vehicle, according to a spokesman for the Garland Police Department. But I will tell you this, this is a police department of professionals.

Dallas Police Association president Michael Mata posted photos of the damaged vehicle calling the shooter a "coward".
