The detectives reportedly met with Eggert, Polinsky, and her attorney Lisa Bloom for about two hours on Tuesday.
"Nicole answered all of their questions and told her story of sexual abuse by Scott Baio when she was a minor". Baio said that's not true, that he and Eggert had sex once when she was 18.
We've also learned actor Alexander Polinsky, who played Adam Powell on the show, accompanied Eggert and told detectives he witnessed some of the alleged abuse. Baio has also previously denied Eggert's claim they had intercourse when she was 17, explaining that by her own admission, they had intercourse after the show was over - the show ended in 1990, when Eggert was 18. Her appearance on Dr. Oz had also been stalled while the producers vetted the allegations; her interview was initially filmed on January 10, but didn't air until after both Eggert and Baio went public with their claims. "And I told her what happened to me - not in grave detail - but that it happened to me and I want her to know that. if anybody even attempts anything like that, she knows that I will go to battle for her. A witness, [Charles in Charge star] Alexander Polinsky, appeared as well and told the detectives about inappropriate touching he witnessed, as well as his own allegations of bullying by Scott Baio". Officer Norma Eisenman confirmed to USA TODAY Wednesday only that "the LAPD is looking into the allegations", in which Eggert accuses Baio of having sex with her when she was underage about 30 years ago when both were starring on Charles in Charge.
"If anyone else has information about this matter please contact us". "I can't keep up with her, honestly".
"It started with shaming - fat shaming me all the time", she claims. "Creep", Eggert wrote in a social media post last month.
"I think that's a message people really need to understand", she continues.
TDP MPs readying for protest in Parliament
The meeting of TDP leaders was held days after several party members expressed their displeasure over the Union Budget 2018-19. Naidu told that the Parliamentary Party has chose to protest inside and outside the Parliament till all the demands are met.
"I was 15 years old standing on the bridge over the L.A. River at Ventura and Vineland in Studio City, and I looked down at that dry river bed and I'm sobbing, I'm sobbing", she said.
Baio was quick to come forward with a denial of the accusations against him, first taking to Facebook Live to explain his side of the story, calling Eggert's credibility into question.
"My reputation is being damaged, my family is being put through this, and I'm done", Baio added.
"She wanted me to be her first so that she will be good for her boyfriend", he said in an interview with "Good Morning America" that took place the day after Eggert's "Today" show interview.
"How any of this could have happened is absolutely impossible", he added. She's never had to defend what she's saying so much.
Reps for Baio and Eggert did not immediately respond to Fox News' request for comment.
