NBC Adds 'SNL' Cast Member to Olympics Coverage

According to the television network, the comedian will be flying to Pyeongchang to attend the Olympic events, meet athletes, and spread her enthusiasm for the games for people watching on television and online.

Jones' last traveled to Rio, Brazil to cover the 2016 Summer Olympics - and thus her signature (Beyonce-truncated) SLAY ALL DAY catchphrase was born.

The comedian and Saturday Night Live cast member will join reporters as a contributor to NBC's coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Super fan Leslie Jones is returning to the Olympics.

"Experiencing the Olympics through the lens of Leslie is unlike anything else. I love it!" Jones tweeted, along with the video of herself draped in an American flag.

During the 2016 Rio Olympics, Jones gained Bell's attention after live-tweeting her Olympic viewing experience, where she offered her own comical commentary and encouragement for Team USA.

Jones confirmed the news on social media herself while donning patriotic Team USA gear from head to toe.

NBC's Live Primetime coverage of the Winter Olympics begins February 8.

She also wrote on the micro-blogging website: "I WANT TO GO TO A SOCCER GAME SOMEBODY MAKE IT HAPPEN!"
