The Cavs will send Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose to Utah and Iman Shumpert to Sacramento.

In just 16 games with the Cavs this season, Rose is averaging just 9.8 points per game in a little over 19 minutes of action per night. He was the 2011 NBA MVP, but has struggled with injuries.

A more likely target for opposing teams is swingman Rodney Hood. The Jazz (26-28) have won seven straight games behind the strength of a resurgence from Ricky Rubio. From the field, he's hitting 42.2 percent of his overall shots, including 38.9 percent on 3-pointers.

"I'm feeling good, I work hard for these moments", Rubio, acquired in the offseason from the Minnesota Timberwolves, said during a postgame television interview. Especially Iman, who also leaves as a champion and was another part of a special group that earned success at the highest level here.

The release of Rose isn't really that surprising.

The key for Sacramento was getting off the long term money owed to Hill.

The Cleveland Cavaliers' stunning trade deadline makeover continued after trading Isaiah Thomas to the Lakers, with a pair of deals. Cleveland might be able to bring out his best and his skill set matches LeBron James perfectly.

Charlotte wasn't active at the National Basketball Association trade deadline like some outside observers expected. He's making 2.6 threes per game this season.

Walker has played a critical role for the Hornets on the road over the past two weeks. Utah's Rudy Gobert collected 12 rebounds and scored eight points. Sacramento is not a contender, but they have been targeting veterans to help establish a new culture for their promising young players, including De'Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield.
