This #BackTo5 hashtag could mean anything from 5000 mAh batteries in each ZenFone, 5 colours, 5 different ZenFone models or even 5 glass layer displays or backsides.

Asus will be hosting a launch event that will take place during the MWC 2018 in Barcelona, Spain.

The company hasn't revealed the names of the handsets to be announced at the mega event, but reports have claimed it could be none other than the ZenFone 5 Lite and the ZenFone 5 Max.

The event will be held on February 27th at 7:30 pm CET, i.e., 12 am IST on February 28th. It also features a "We Love Photo" tag that was originally used at the time of launching the family past year and sports Qualcomm Snapdragon branding. It will be live-streamed on the company's social channels and official website. Asus promised to bring its new ZenFone lineup to market much earlier than past year when the first ZenFone 4 handsets arrived in August / September.

The Asus ZenFone 5 Lite, on the other hand, was certified in Russian Federation. It also appears to come with features, such as Wi-Fi Direct and Miracast support.

A much better job, actually, as the ZenFone 4 family has barely started to receive the official Android 8.0 update roughly a month ago, and the ZenFone 3 is already following suit. It features a full-HD+ display and a dual camera setup on the back that both are likely to be the key trends in the next ZenFone range.

Meanwhile, the Asus Zenfone 5 Lite has allegedly received certification in Russian Federation. More details on Asus' upcoming phones can be expected as the release date nears.
