Clouds will be on the increase this afternoon ahead of the next cold front. Expect lows to remain above freezing across the board tonight and mostly in the mid to upper 30s.
Sunshine returns tomorrow with sunny afternoons through Sunday!
A cold front will slip through overnight with little fan fair! That brings most of us into the upper 50s, with a few more 60 degree readings dotting the landscape to the south and east. The bigger weather story arrives with the strong cold front dives into the mountains Tuesday and Wednesday with rain and cloud cover.
We stay dry heading into the weekend. Instead, a new area of high pressure should build in and provide us with partly sunny skies both Saturday and Sunday. We will have some patchy clouds around, but some sunshine as well. Then, a cold front is likely to wobble through the area with cooler temperatures and a shower chance for Friday and Saturday, the first and second of December. A rogue shower can not be ruled out during the day.
Univ. of OR graduate students join National Walkout
At Duke University, the students marched with chants of "No tax cuts for corporations, money for jobs and education". I would lose half of that with the tax reform", said SIU grad student Andy Harper.
"The driest November since 1965 keeps rolling along in the dust; the monthly rainfall deficit hit a whopping -3.70" Tuesday, but there is at least a little rain in sight!
On Wednesday night, skies will start mostly clear, and we'll add in a few clouds toward dawn. Then overnight, temperatures will fall to the mid 40s. Highs will be in the middle to upper 50s.
Sunshine returns Friday. Temperatures will be seasonable for December 1 with lows in the low 30s and highs in the upper 40s.
