Google Assistant launched a year ago on the Google Pixel smartphone and his expanded to other devices to give them AI features and voice activated commands.

This OS is a toned down version of the latest Android Oreo OS which is now present in high-end devices. However, the devices running on the Android versions released before Lollipop are still neglected by Google.

Lollipop phone users have already begun to see the update in the USA and other countries if English or Spanish is their default language, and the feature is also rolling out in Italy, Japan, Germany, Brazil, and Korea.

Recently, Google has added over 50 new games, activities, and stories to the Google Assistant on the smartphones and its home page.

The new Google Maps Go app will be available exclusively for Android phones - running Android 4.1 Jellybean or higher.

Now the Assistant is coming to even more Android devices. Other regions where the update will also be made available include Brazil, Germany, Italy, South Korea and Japan. Once you get the Google Assistant update and opt-in, you should see the Assistant app icon in the "All apps" list. At the time, the company stated that the newest version would be the best fit for the devices having RAM of 512MB or 1GB.

Not only this, Assistant is also coming to older Android version as well. However, it will be rolled out to other regions like any other new Google feature or app.

Google VP of Engineering Shashidhar Thakur expressed at the sidelines of Google for India, the prime point of creating Google Go is to help new cell phone clients "go ahead the Internet", and enable them to get to the Web effectively.

Google Maps Go is available in more than 70 languages and features comprehensive, accurate maps in 200 countries and territories, as well as detailed business info for more than 100 million places.
