The Sixers' rookie will be reevaluated in three weeks, but it's another tough blow to the start of a promising career. The injury is unique in the sense there is no clear cause, a specific fall or collision on the court. The good news is that he doesn't have structural damage.

The Sixers announced Sunday that Fultz will be out indefinitely because of "soreness and scapular muscle imbalance in his right shoulder".

The original hope was that he was going to be able to play through it, but it has been rumored that he was altering his shooting motion to deal with the pain.

Markelle Fultz #20 of the Philadelphia 76ers looks on prior to the game against the Houston Rockets at the Wells Fargo Center on October 25, 2017 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Kanpur ODI: Kiwis elect to bowl in series-decider
Talking about the third ODI which is ongoing as we write, put into bat, India posted 337 for six in their allotted 50 overs. The teams are tied 1-1 and both sides have gone in with an unchanged playing eleven.

The troubling aspect for Sixers fans is how often they've seen their No. 1 overall picks miss time due to injury.

Fultz is shooting 33 per cent, 50 per cent from the free-throw line and has not attempted a 3-point shot all season, all as a reserve.

Add to that, the visible issue with Fultz's shot. It doesn't appear that Fultz's injury is as grievous as the other's, but you just never know with the 76ers.
