Iowa State broke a tie on Kempt's 25-yard pass to Allen Lazard, who made a spectacular coach in the end zone with 2:19 to play. The senior ranked second in the Big 12 and fifth in the nation in tackles per game heading into Saturday's contest.

Iowa State trails at halftime, 24-13. The first- and second-place teams will meet on December 2 in Arlington, Tex.

Well, if there is one thing that this game did, it's make the College Football Playoff outlook all the more interesting for both Oklahoma and Ohio State.

For Iowa State, this was a monumental triumph, among the greatest in program history. Iowa State coach Matt Campbell said he is not certain of a timeline for Park's return, noting that he can not discuss medical issues.
