Why Xiaomi Mi A1 is the Android enthusiasts dream budget smartphone

Xioami by mixing the best of Android with the impressive hardware has created a phone that has all the ingredients to become a victor in the budget segment of the market.

You could buy four Mi A1's for the price of a single Galaxy Note 8. Also, it costs peanuts in comparison, so that's that. The 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass layer gives it a premium feel. The only visible difference is seen in the fingerprint scanner placement.

All in all, the Mi A1 is a pretty good package. The phone will offer 32GB of ROM expandable up to 128GB's. Also, because there's third-party skinning involved - and because Xiaomi likes to update each and every device in its portfolio more or less on similar lines - the fact that users have to wait longer for updates, doesn't go down well with many.

Xiaomi is doing more for Android One than Google is doing for the Chinese company. This will be part of the India phones, though Xiaomi will add to this Mi A1 devices launched in other countries as well. In next year, it is the first phone to receive the Android P update.

Despite the big bang launch, very few devices were launched in the time that followed and it looked like Google had pulled the plug on Android One.

At that time, it had partnered with Indian smartphone makers such as Micromax, Spice and Karbonn to launch Android One.

Barnier Defends EU's Position On Brexit
But No10 did not repeat claims that the United Kingdom was confident talks would move on to trade after the October EU summit. And supply chain and logistics operations are the first places that such damage will be felt.

As promised, Xiaomi has just launched its new "A series" smartphone at a global event in India.

Google should have launched a smartphone of Mi A1's calibre back in 2014. Unlike other Mi devices, the Mi A1 is powered by Google and comes with stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat which means it doesn't run on MIUI 9. Some had wondered if Google's turnkey phone program was dead, but with the Mi A1, Android One is apparently "evolving", with a launch planned in over 40 markets. With 3500 mAh battery, Xiaomi Mi 7 mobile phones come with the internal storage of 32 GB, along with fingerprint sensor positioned on the front of the handset as a special feature. There is 64GB of storage provided onboard which can be expanded using a MicroSD card.

The Snapdragon 625 processor has worked its magic in the Redmi Note 4. However, since it's not officially available in the United Kingdom, you'll need to pay a little over the odds to obtain one. The stock-running Mi A1 will probably beat the Note when it comes to receiving Android updates.

At $235, the Mi A1 offers exceptional value for money.

The Mi A1 is equipped with a dual lens camera at the back panel. It has a 12MP telephoto lens and a 12MP wide-angle lens along with everyone's favourite portrait mode for those bokeh effect photos.

Xiaomi Mi A1 has a dual-rear camera. The Xiaomi's Mi 7 will also sport digital zoom, with auto flash, and face detection. They aimed to be cheap phones that worked well, but the competition back then - Xiaomi Redmi (Rs 5,999), Moto E (Rs 6,999) and others - drowned it out. On the camera front, the smartphone includes a dual rear camera setup with two 12-megapixel sensors along with a 5-megapixel front shooter. The Mi A1, in addition, also ships with a 380V charger so it can withstand India's varying voltage fluctuation needs.
