After announcing her highly awaited sophomore album 'Melodrama' back in March, Lorde has already previewed two singles off the upcoming record.

Brendan WalterThanks to the time difference between the USA and New Zealand, Lorde's new single has arrived today rather than Friday. She writes, "i was living in NY during summer past year, writing melodrama - i'd ride across the brooklyn bridge every day, or sit on the subway uptown in the heat, then go back home to new zealand winter for a week at a time to party with my friends". It finds our pure heroine singing about "graceless nights", getting drunk, and looking for happiness - but knowing she might not get it: "All the nights spent off our faces / Trying to find these ideal places / What the fuck are flawless places anyway?"

It's another huge pop song that sees her continue down the happy-sad route of Green Light. "I hope you like it".

UK police: Tiger that killed zookeeper has not been killed
In October 2008 a cheetah which escaped from the park was found by a nine-year-old boy in the back garden of his family home. Mr Chisholm, from Irchester, Northamptonshire, said: 'Rosa wasn't just a keeper at Hamerton Zoo - she was Hamerton Zoo.

"Every night, I live and die", Lorde sings.

Don't get us wrong - the euphoric melody makes for a carefree jam reminiscent of her first album, and this solid album track definitely deserves a spot on your summer party playlist.
