LeBron says he'd want Magic, Jordan as his 3-on-3 teammates

OAKLAND, Calif. - LeBron James is thrilled that the International Olympic Committee has approved a plan to add 3-on-3 basketball, but you won't be seeing him represent Team USA in Tokyo in 2020.

"I will get away from the game a little bit, probably watch some WNBA games, though", said the three-time National Basketball Association champ.

"I don't know, I have to think about it", James said before practice Sunday as he prepared for Game 5 of the NBA Finals. I haven't seen the full layout of how they plan on executing it ... are they going to use National Basketball Association guys, are they going to use college guys? Right now, it's anyone's guess.

According to the Associated Press, if James could team up with any other two players from National Basketball Association history, those two players would be Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson.

"Definitely I would play in it again if offered the opportunity", said Bria Hartley, who was part of the first title team in 2012, pairing with fellow WNBA players Chiney Ogwumike, Skylar Diggins and Ann Strother. "I'm more of a 5-on-5 guy", LeBron told the AP.

If neither party can command a majority in parliament for their Queen's Speech, it is likely a fresh election would be called. There are also significant divides over benefit cuts after DUP sources told the BBC that the party wants to "kill austerity".

But is that the greatest dream 3-on-3 team ever?

James says he is unlikely to compete in the 3-on-3 basketball at the Tokyo Olympics.

Still, LeBron wants no part of actually playing in a 3-on-3 game. "So I think that could be really good. So you can not get LeBron James to play on your 3-on-3 team". You see in these other sports where they go compete in the Olympics but they have regular day jobs.

While one might be able to make the argument that the Cavs aren't one based on the way their top talent came together - Kyrie Irving was drafted there, James signed as a free agent and Kevin Love arrived via trade - they still have three All-Stars in their starting five. "So I think that can be great". "Whenever I can put on a USA Basketball jersey".

While the famous chasedown block of Andre Iguodala in Game 7 of last year's Finals alluded to above probably takes the cake considering the stakes of the moment, the self-oop was perhaps an equally impressive feat of awe-inspiring athletic ability, grace, power, and innovation.
