According to MacRumors, Apple is working on developing an "Echo-like" smart speaker for its digital voice assistant, Siri. Additionally, Apple will offer new Smart Keyboards in 30 more languages for both tablets. Finally for streaming via Apple TV, you'll need a second or third generation Apple TV with software 6.2 or later.

Siri can now translate for you.

"It will reinvent home audio", said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

The speaker will sell for about $350 in December in the USA, United Kingdom and Australia.

Amazon's Echo speaker has been a sleeper hit.

At the company's annual developer conference on Monday, Apple announced a new WiFi speaker called HomePod that will play music and respond to voice commands with Apple's digital assistant, Siri.

We got a new Dock, which can be stuffed with far more apps than the old one, and that acts as an app switcher accessible from anywhere - not just a Home screen.

Safari, Apple's web browser, is getting new features aimed at online annoyances. It will not actually block ads, though.

Apple is introducing a number of effects into the Live Photos feature. Motion tracking, ambient lighting and scale estimation will let developers create augmented reality in their own apps. Or if someone texts you about owing money, it will ask if you want to pay using Apple Pay.
