At Microsoft's E3 2017 press conference, Life Is Strange: Before the Storm was unveiled, and its first episode is coming on August 31.

They added it will focus on the relationship between Chloe and Rachel Amber - two characters who are central to the storyline of Life Is Strange.

"The original LIFE IS STRANGE brought a new level of depth and real-world emotion to the narrative adventure game genre and holds a strong place in many people's hearts, including our own", said Jeff Litchford, Vice President at Deck Nine Games. This new series is by Deck Nine Games and Square Enix - it is not made by DONTNOD. It is a short game with only three episodes.

Two years ago, Square Enix and Dontnod Entertainment caught gamers by surprise with Life is unusual, an episodic game that placed players in the role of Max, a teenage girl whose ability to change time created unexpected consequences.

Apple battle rivals with new 'HomePod' to reinvent home audio
HomePod is around seven inches high and features a 7-tweeter array with beam-forming tweeters - each with its own driver. Phil Schiller , Apple's SVP of worldwide marketing, said on stage that the product has been in the works for "years".

We'll have more details on this game in the months ahead - but, man, it's great to have Life Is Strange back. Nevertheless, players are getting more Life is odd in the future, and that's a guarantee.

Players will get the chance to get in the shoes of Max Caulfield's best friend Chloe Price.

The last words are important as it hints that the other Life Is Strange won't star Max as the main character. This time around, the younger Chloe will be voiced by Rhianna DeVries, with Chloe's original voice actor, Ashly Burch, taking on writing duties.

At just over a minute and 30 seconds long, the quick edit of scenes in the new trailer didn't reveal much of the plot. This is not the follow-up from original developers DONTNOD Entertainment announced, but rather a three-part miniseries from Deck Nine Games.
