The NBC affiliate in Atlanta reported information from Fulton County Police that there were 38 people on the bus.
Grady Memorial Hospital said they received 9 patients.
The bus appeared to roll over onto a passenger vehicle. The parkway where the crash occurred was completely closed and firetrucks and ambulances swarmed the area near Atlanta's airport. Mount Zion Baptist Church in Huntsville, Ala., posted on its Facebook page that one of its buses with its student ministry mission was involved in a crash while traveling to the airport. The church said it was carrying adults and high school students in grades 11 and 12. Of those, four were in critical condition, three in fair and one was listed in stable condition.
11Alive spoke with one couple who said their niece was involved in the wreck and they hurried to the hospital to be by her side. "Several serious injuries. Please pray for those injured and parents as they travel to Atlanta", the post said.
The church posted a message on Facebook saying, "PRAY!" The bus overturned onto at least one of them.

"We know they're all right, we know we've been blessed", he told reporters outside the church. "He was rather shook", he said of his son. "It's just tough", Few told WSB-TV.
The Huntsville community is coalescing around the Mount Zion Baptist Church family as transportation to Atlanta is being provided, blocks of hotels rooms are being booked, and local leaders are doing everything possible to aid and assist the relatives and friends of those affected.
The National Transportation Safety Board said it was gathering information but hadn't yet chose to launch a team.
