The rumors were true: Amazon's video app is finally coming to Apple's TV streaming box.

The function reportedly works simply: if a device running iOS 11 tries to join your Wi-Fi network, your nearby iOS devices will get a pop-up asking if you'd like to share your password.

Aside from the new speaker, Apple also took the opportunity to announce new iPad Pros, an iMac Pro and iMac updates. However, she also looks a little different: Apple has given its voice assistant a new visual interface that surfaces multiple results for your requests, as well as followup questions. Safari is also getting a new feature called "intelligent tracking prevention", which Federighi says will keep "your browsing history your own". Apple's speaker will be launching in the USA, U.K., and Australia in December, with additional markets to come next year.

The upcoming OS, which will power the next installment in the iPhone series, features a new file management system, a revamped app switcher, and a quick-type keyboard.

iOS 11 is out for developers now, with a final release expected in September.

The decision will come as a relief to the more than 11,000 people from Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain living in Qatar. But a Qatari diplomat said the crisis reflected a lack of US leadership.

If approved, the password is sent to the connecting device and autopopulated without either user having to type a single character. Users will also have access to a new Files app for greater organization. You can now use Siri to add to your Evernote or pull up a QR code in WeChat, among other things.

At this point in time, we only have our hands on the first developer beta of iOS 11.

Fortunately, that's exactly what Apple is believed to have planned for its next iPhone, the so-called iPhone 8. Apple, however, has kept mum about the system's automatic disabling feature for apps like Uber and Waze.

This feature won't be useful with every app, as some apps like Facebook already store settings and user data on the cloud.

The lock screen and notification center are combined in iOS 11, and the control center - the panel you swipe up from the bottom of your screen to toggle on Wi-Fi or the flashlight - has been totally redesigned.
