Blizzard is teasing something new for Overwatch, it seems.
The question, however, is whether the message means that Overwatch will soon get a new map, a new hero, or both.
Later today, more news was found that showcased a connection with the colony and possible test subjects. Based on the transmissions, it looks like this teaser could be for a new gorilla hero after Winston, possibly named Hammond.
Brewers' Anderson no-hits Diamiondbacks through 6 innings
When the challenge was denied, Godley came up with the defensive play of the game and Counsell, so irate, was tossed. Braun injured his calf during Thursday's game against the Arizona Diamondbacks and was removed in the fifth inning.
One of the emails calls out a specific subject by name: Hammond.
Lucheng Interstellar has released the first image of the Horizon Lunar Colony's monitoring systems, showing that seven specimens are still alive and well in the facility, along with several scientists, through majority are huddled close to each other. The team of scientists took with them a group of genetically enhanced gorillas in order to test the effects of prolonged habitation in space. The gorillas launched an uprising, killing all the scientists and claiming the moon-base for their own. As you can see, Winston isn't the only specimen to be missing.
Overwatch game director Jeff Kaplan may have subtly hinted at Hammond in a recent interview.
The arrival of the game's 25th hero could be imminent.
Last night on Twitter, the official account for Overwatch released a cryptic statement that has left many fans in confusion.
