Palin took a swipe at National Football League player Colin Kaepernick's recent Meals On Wheels donation and people on social media have been giving her the business.

The group that provides food for seniors in need thanked Kaepernick for his donation on Tuesday.

Over on Sarah Palin's website, which we won't be linking to, she posted a link to an article by Mary Kate Knorr that labeled Kaepernick's $50,000 donation to the meal delivery service a publicity stunt.

Sarah commented on the article on her Facebook page ... saying, "And he wonders why he can't find a job".

The exception was Lee Westwood in 2011. "The diagnosis is much better being over here". The surgery is scheduled for Friday.

Kaepernick became a lightning rod for criticism when the then San Francisco 49ers quarterback took a knee during the national anthem before games this past season to protest against police brutality against African-Americans. That's just not true.

The donation is part of Kaepernick's promise to donate $1 million to organizations that help people in troubled communities. While the budget cuts may tighten the belts of many Meals on Wheels programs across the country, it's unlikely the budget cuts would spell the end of the program. He's also funded his own "Know Your Rights" camp targeting youth of color, which includes workshops on healthy living, financial literacy and civil rights.

Colin Kaepernick became everyone's top athlete a year ago when he revived a groundbreaking movement connecting sports and advocacy with the simple gesture of a bended knee. His organization did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
